There’s just one small problem: getting that papery skin off the clove without ending up with bits of it all over the kitchen! 1. Cut the root end off the garlic clove.
2. Soak the clove in hot water for five minutes.
3. Then just peel the skin off as usual.

It breaks apart into individual cloves.

First, cut off the root ends on your cloves.

Then soak for five minutes in hot water.

Then just peel off the skin!
