Gotta catch a spouse! Pokémon engagement rings

rings

One day while I was playing Pokémon in my parent’s basement, my uncle Sam came down and asked me to help him. He handed me a Womédex (a smartphone loaded with online dating apps) and a set of Woméballs (tennis balls painted red and white) and told me it was time to catch one of these magical creatures for my very own.

Luckily, Trisha was kind enough not to press charges after I threw a tennis ball at her head inside a Starbucks during our first date, but my quest has so far still been left unfulfilled. Thankfully, I found something more suitable for catching high-level Womémon like Trish being sold online by a talented jeweler named Paul Michael.

The Pokéball Engagement Ring set shown above is made of gold, white gold, diamonds and sapphires, and sells for about US$1,000. Although the standard red-and-white color is shown, it is possible to change them to your liking.

However, if you’re looking to catch a mythical Womémon of your own, you may want to upgrade to the fully-studded Pokéball Engagement Ring with Real Gems. This piece complete replaces the simple coloring of the previous rings with a full array of diamonds, sapphires, rubies, emeralds, and tanzanite.

This bad boy will run you in the vicinity of $2,500, and should land you any Womémon you’re after, regardless of their level. You might want to weaken them with some tail whips first though.

Paul Michael Design also offers a range of Star Wars themed jewelry such is these Han Solo and R2-D2 style rings. Most rings and the heavily jeweled Pokémon ring can be shipped worldwide, but the basic Pokéball ring is only available inside America for the time being.

I’m going to get mine as soon as possible. I can’t wait to chuck one at Samantha’s head next time she appears. Then she’ll be mine forever!
