Home sushi train kit commercial is cheesy/awesome

A couple of weeks ago, we brought you news that Japanese toy maker Takara Tomy Arts had just released a revolving sushi kit for home use, which comes complete with miniature sushi train and sushi making tools. Aimed primarily at kids it looked like tremendous fun, but having seen the promotional video for the product we’d like to take this opportunity to upgrade the product’s status in our estimations from “tremendous fun” to the more scientifically accurate “OMFGWANT!”.

Full video after the jump.

Watch this and tell us that kit doesn’t look completely awesome.

▼ The kids all want sushi, but Dad’s too depressed. Times are tough in Japan.

▼ Then he remembers they bought a special home sushi train kit!

▼ And Mama springs into action.

▼ Dad throws on his chef whites…

▼ …then slacks off while the others cook (yes, you’ll still have to make rice, sadly).

▼ Then it’s just a matter of assembling the train track…

▼ …and getting ready to roll some sushi!

▼ Which with these tools, any idiot can do!

Yep, we definitely want one now. If you’re reading this, Takara Tomy, any chance of a free “review” model!?
