We here at RocketNews24 are completely amazed by all of the cute food that comes from Japan. From character donuts to hotcakes loaded with tiny cats, they’re constantly surprising us with doses of cute in the most unexpected forms, even in little bite-sized sweets such as macarons!

Macarons are generally delectable to look at, especially in a store where the colorful little round treats are lined up neatly in a glass showcase. To a sweets lover, shopping in a macaron store feels almost like shopping in a jewelry boutique. If you’re one of those people who have difficulty choosing a piece from a box full of gorgeously colored macarons, you’re likely to have more trouble sinking your teeth into one of these adorable character macarons!

We can imagine that these absolutely cute confections would make great novelty treats at a high-tea party, or wonderful handmade gifts for a special someone! If you’re interested in making some, check out the videos below for a concise tutorial on how to achieve character-shaped macarons! They don’t look too difficult to create, though lots of time and patience is probably required to decorate the little sweets!
