Japanese Twitter user shows off cell phone alarm, we all nod in sad agreement

Hey, it’s Monday! Aren’t you excited to be back at work? We sure are! Of course, writing at RocketNews24 is probably the coolest job you can get, so maybe our experience is slightly different…

But even if you do love your job, waking up in the morning can still be a pain, can’t it? Now, some of you are probably those mythical “morning people,” who wake up without an alarm and are actually capable of speech without three cups of coffee and a cold shower. But for the rest of you, we bet you need an alarm clock or three to wake you up. If so, this tweet will have you nodding your sleepy head.

Retweeted over 14,000 times, this picture perfectly sums up the agony of mornings. While we’re sure everyone has a different ritual, we’d put cold hard Monopoly money on at least half of you having the exact same thing set up on your phones.

To be perfectly honest, we’re not sure he’s got enough alarms set–maybe a few more “just in case,” because, seriously, who wakes up on the fourth alarm? We say let the worm, early bird, brunch, and lunch do whatever the hell they want. We’ll be up in time for afternoon tea.

Of course, we’re not the only ones that feel this way. Japanese netizens were pretty much saying the exact same thing!

“Hold up! This looks exactly like my phone!!”

“This is exactly me. And I have two alarms set up, one in my room and one in the hall.”

“I don’t really think this is ‘bad’ though. Bad would be only setting one alarm and oversleeping!”

“What would be truly ‘bad’ would be saying, ‘I’ll get up at the next one,” and then just continuing sleeping!”

“I’m exactly the same. The times I have set are even the same!”

“We can’t wake up because we keep doing this kind of stuff, hunh?”

“Why the hell do you know the settings on my phone??”

Well, dear readers, what do you think? Does this look like your phone? Or are you one of those mysterious “morning people?” If so, we’d ask you to at least keep it down after you wake up–some of us are still sleeping!
