There’s something strange with these Hollywood horrors: they’re adorable and awesome! 【Art】

Even if you are afraid of the dark, you’ll definitely want to check out these boogeymen and women!

We are no strangers to the wonderful artistic stylings of Tik Ka as we have been fascinated by his mash-up art projects that cross popular Western images with the traditional art of the Far East. From Star Wars to Marvel, he’s captured our attention with his unique style and evolving techniques. His newest collection combines the popular baddies from horror films with his extremely fun art style for a final product that is horrifically wonderful…horrinderful!

▼ Jason takes on Leather Face in a battle of elemental skill and sword technique.

▼ Hellboy is ready for all the paranormal creatures from Chinese folklore.

▼ Regan wishes her projectile vomit came out this pretty.

▼ If only Freddy Krueger protected our dreams instead.

▼ Vengeance shall be the Crow’s!

▼ We would say Beetlejuice’s name three times if this was the result.

▼ Edward Scissorhands protects his garden of earthly delights.

▼ Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and his buddies roasting some marshmallows, because that’s what friends do. Wait…would this be considered cannibalism?

▼ Sadako and Toshio just want to have fun and play games.

Besides the main characters in each piece, pay attention to the little additions that surround them, you might find a few Easter eggs like No-Face hanging out with the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. Tik Ka constantly uploads new work and projects, so be sure to follow the Tik Ka from East Facebook page for the most up-to-date stuff.
